Unfortunately, due the current Covid19 pandemic and restrictions, we have had to cancel all Village Ventures events for the foreseeable future. Please keep an eye on the website and the various noticeboards around the village for news as to when we are able to restart some or all regular events.
Village Ventures is a group of 30+ volunteers in Brompton who support and/or organise a number of village social and fundraising events. This can range from catering for the Community Lunch to providing a weekend of cakes and biscuits on the Heritage Weekends. An offshoot of Village Ventures is the Village BBC (Brompton Bun Club), a group of good cooks supporting the provision of refreshments at the various village events.
One of the most popular social events is the monthly Community Lunch which is held every third Wednesday in the month ( bar August) and is open to all.
