Brompton Cricket Club

Above is a team from the past.

However the present club members have been labouring long and hard on building a new pavilion at the cricket field on the edge of the village.

Since May the roof has been latted and felted, made water tight and the roof slating completed. Then, following a successful grant for solar panels, these have been installed to make the building more environmentally friendly and self sufficient. Most recently the internal concrete floor slab has been poured, following the installation of drainage for the toilets and showers and the windows installed.

They will soon be ready to face the new season in 2021.
